Once a student’s Assignment or Quiz has been graded, the grade will be automatically recorded in the Progress Book if you chose to include the Assignment or Quiz. You can edit the student grades directly from the Progress Book to overwrite the scores automatically given to them, or to provide grades to grade items which Edmodo does not automatically post, such as recitations, group presentations, or performance tasks.
Go to the Classes icon on the top toolbar.
In the Sub Headings section, click Progress.
In the upper left corner of the page, select the Class.
Look for the student and click the Grade you want to change.
Enter any changes such as the student score and/or the highest possible score. Changes are automatically saved.
Edmodo currently does not offer a tool that automatically calculates your students’ grades, especially if grade items have different percentage weights to their final grades. You can, however, export the students’ grades from Edmodo into a CSV file. Use a spreadsheets program such as MS Excel or Google Sheets to input formulas and calculate your students’ grades. You may also upload the CSV file to an external grading program that you may have.
Go to the Classes icon on the top toolbar.
In the Sub Headings section, click Progress.
In the upper left corner of the page, select the Class.
Select the Grading Period you want to export.
Click the Export button at the top right corner of the Progress Book page.
