Using Hashtags

Hashtags are categories or descriptors of specific subject areas, such as #digitalcitizenship or #math. These hashtags organize discussions and posts of the Edmodo community, and you can follow specific hashtags so that new content that uses that hashtag will appear in your home feed. To follow:

1. From your Home page, you can click on any of the Popular Hashtags displayed on the left side panel.

2. Alternatively, you can click the Explore Hashtags button to open a list of other hashtags.

3. After clicking on a hashtag, it will show a page that displays recent posts that use that hashtag. To follow, simply click on the Follow button.

4. Hashtags you follow will show their recent content in your home feed.

5. You can also participate in hashtags by using them in your posts.

Discovering educational resources

The Discover section is filled with apps, games, videos, and links shared by members of the Edmodo community. You can browse categories or search using specific keywords.

If you find resources that you wish to use or keep, you can click the Save button to keep the resource in your Library. You can add saved resources to your posts or assign them to students.
