There are three ways to go about sending Assignments to students in Edmodo:
Creating a new Assignment and sending right away
Creating a new Assignment and sending at a later date
Sending an existing Assignment

Once you have made an Assignment, it will be stored in Edmodo. You will see it in your Library > My Assignments. If you cannot see the Library icon from the panel at the top of your screen, you will be able to find it by clicking your profile picture at the top right.
To send an existing Assignment:
In your Class page, click on Create.
Hover over Assignment, then click Load existing.
Search for the existing assignment by using the search bar or scrolling down. Once you found it, click Copy Assignment to create a copy of the original assignment.
Feel free to edit or update the title or instructions.
When done, click Assign.
Choose the options for your assignment, such as:
Assign to: which class, small group, or individual student will this be assigned
Due on: deadline and option to lock the assignment
Add to grade book: option to include this to student progress.
Select the option whether to Schedule for later or Assign now.
